UHV Staff Council Scholarship

Eligibility
The UHV Staff Council Awards and Recognition Committee is seeking applications from active UHV staff members. Incomplete or illegible applications will not be accepted.

This scholarship opportunity is open to all UHV staff members who meet the following criteria:
• Must be a full-time benefits eligible employee of UHV at the time scholarships are awarded and during the enrollment period.
• Must have completed the HR probationary period at the time of the award
• Must be enrolled in courses at UHV
• Must complete the UHV Scholarship application

Scholarship Criteria
• Must meet the satisfactory academic progress requirements, including 2.0 GPA for undergraduate students; 3.0 GPA for graduate students
• Must be at least a half-time student
• Answer the following question:
• What has been your involvement and notable contributions to UHV Staff Council within the past 2 years?

Please note that the $500 award amount per semester is for books and supplies.

UHV Staff Council Board Members are allowed to apply for the scholarship; however, they shall not be a part of the Staff Awards and Recognition Committee selection process.
